There
are two tracks recorded during the aptly titled And Then There
Were Three album sessions in 1978 "Vancouver" and "The Day
The Lights Went Out" which came out as B-sides. There's
also a live version of the Tony Banks' classic "Burning Rope"
from the same year, marking the arrival of guitarist Darryl
Stuermer who features on all the remaining live tracks.
Both "Open
Door" and "Evidence Of Autumn" were contenders for the Duke
album in 1980, eventually making it on to B-sides. And there
are no fewer than four tracks from their extensive UK tour
in 1980: "Ripples", a concert favourite from Trick Of The
Tail, comes from London's Theatre Royal on May 5 while And
Then There Were Three's "Deep In The Motherlode" and "The
Lady Lies" plus "Dukes's Travels" from Duke were recorded
at London's Lyceum the following night.
